Jasmine

The signs of summer have begun to appear!

I love the smell of jasmine flowers.  There is something so beautiful and pleasant about it.  The scent always brings me back to my childhood and the beginning of summer.  

Our building is surrounded by jasmine plants and they are in bloom.  Every time I come home, I am welcomed by the scent.  When I've had a hard day at work (which is pretty much every work day), I am relaxed as I exit my car and inhale.  When I'm in a great mood and walk by, it just brings me such joy.  I love that we have a God who has given us pleasure in the simple things like scents.  He didn't have to make flowers smell so lovely, but He did!
