Collecting Inspiration

What do you do when inspiration isn't coming?  When you feel run dry?

I've learned that inspiration is everything.  I can't start a project without inspiration.  Sometimes inspiration has struck and if I don't act upon it quickly, I loose it all.  Inspiration must be present at the start of a project and it must continue throughout the project.

Now this is where the problem begins.  I'm a busy girl and I don't always have the time or the resources to start something when the inspiration strikes.   My solution?  The Inspiration Look Book.

I took something totally drab and turned into into something fab.  Fabulous because it is the culmination of all of the fabulous sources of inspiration I've found and all the things that have caught my eye.  It is all in one place--my Inspiration Look Book

When I'm looking for a little inspiration, all I need to do is open the doors to my notebook and I can revisit all of the beautiful things I've collected.
In making over the cover, I decided I wanted to use magazine clips as I plan to mainly be clipping from them since I most often find inspiration in decorating and design catalogs.  I found these beautiful white doors and though that they would be a perfect cover as it leads me to desire to find out what is behind them.  Additionally, I love words.  The words I found perfectly describe my hope for this Inspiration Look Book..."ready set...everything you need to get started." This book is to get me ready to explore my creativity.

Inspiration--everything you need to get started!  For without it, nothing creative will happen.

On the computer I have my pinterest to collect inspiration and in my everyday I have my Inspiration Look Book!

I'm off to find inspiration!
