Fondue-Cheese Fondue! It says it all.
My family is a cheese family. We love cheese. The more I encounter other people, the more I realize that we as a family eat a lot of cheese. It is a good thing Josh too likes cheese and we are now a Saenz cheese family too...the second generation of a cheese family. Okay so a little weird, I know, but what I'm trying to say is...we love cheese. Naturally when Josh and I invited my sister and her new boyfriend over for dinner, she requested that we have cheese fondue.
What I love about fondue is that it is a great meal for entertaining. Essentially all of the "cooking" or prep is done ahead of time and so you can really enjoy your guests while they are there and you aren't stuck in the kitchen trying to get everything together. Yesterday I was able to wash, chop, and prep everything before they arrived and didn't have to worry about setting anything up--except for making the cheese.
We made an Italian fondue which was so tasty. It was made with Gorgonzola cheese, mozzarella, basil, and sun dried tomatoes. We had quite a few items to dip--bread, carrots, broccoli, apples, and chicken.
We had a really fun night together. Enjoying some cheese and spending some great time with one another. We even talked about doing a weekly fondue night...different cheese every week...it could be tasty!
