Frozen Fruit Kabobs

Happy Summer Saturday friends!  I hope you have enjoyed the beautiful day...it was way to hot here to be outside for long, but I had a special treat to help me out with that today...

... Frozen Fruit Kabobs!

This is seriously one of my favorite summer treats.  Josh and I first discovered these on our honeymoon and we were seriously in love (both with these and each other)!

These are simple to make and you can really use any fruit you have on hand.  I went to the farmers market yesterday and picked up some strawberries and raspberries and so I used them along with some kiwis and peaches I already had at home.

All you need to do is chop up your favorite fruits and string them along on some wooden skewers.

Plop them on a plate and stick them in the freezer for a few hours or until you are ready to enjoy them.

Then grab a lounge, a magazine, and an ice cold water and you are sure to be able to endure the heat for a little longer.

This cold treat is the perfect summer snack.  What's more is it subsides your desire for that scoop of ice cream and gives you a little extra helping of some delicious, good for you fruits!

Oh how I love Summer!
