Happy Fall! Today is officially the first day of Fall! Sadly though, temperatures are supposed to be in the 90s...well at least I know it is Fall in my heart. For the first day of Fall I wanted to share with you an easy Fall salad I created the other day. It is delightfully fresh.
This Champagne Salad is a sweet reminder of Fall with sweet Champagne red grapes. These are a smaller grape and have a bit of a champagne or wine taste to them. They are divine on their own and a great addition to the salad.
I used fresh arugula for this salad. Arugula has a peppery sharper taste which balances some of the sweeter flavors from the grapes and other ingredients. Feta is the next ingredient as I feel that every salad should have cheese incorporated into the dish. Feta is a perfect balance to the fruitiness of the grapes.
Walnuts are the final main ingredient in this lovely fall salad, adding a bit of fall flavor.
Once you have added the dressing, simply toss it all together. Grab a fork and enjoy your wonderful Fall treat!
As a quick recap, the salad is made up of arugula, champagne grapes, feta cheese, walnuts, and tossed with a champagne vinaigrette. This quick delicious salad is a great way to have a Fabulous Fall!
Hope you all have a Fabulous first day of Fall!
I am a salad girl myself & that looks great...yumm! Thanks for posting, I will have to try that soon.
