Get the Look-PB: 5 Days, 5 Ways-Voluminous Canisters

Everybody wants to "Get the Look" without paying the price and so I've decided to dedicate a 5 Days, 5 Ways to Getting that Pottery Barn Look!

Pottery Barn is such an inspiration to me!  I love the way they style homes!  I think of their home decor in terms of fashion, styling, and accessories (maybe its just because I've been watching The Rachel Zoe Project and I've been thinking about fashion all day), but I think it is the "accessories" that truly help you get "the look."  Today's Pottery Barn Inspired is all about how to accessorize a home using voluminous canisters (which is what PB calls apothecary jars).  Everybody wants to "Get the Look" without paying the price and so I've decided to dedicate a 5 Days, 5 Ways to Getting that Pottery Barn Look!

My home

Here is the how to get the look.  The best part is that this was a totally free, quick project!  I already had the apothecary jar and the rest was free since I collected it all from nature.  Pottery Barn's styling out of their latest magazine was simple.  The jar had a base of rocks, a branch of fresh leaves, and it was filled with water.

This couldn't have been a more simple styling job.  I got to enjoy some time outside collecting my supplies (rocks and branches) and then it took 2 minutes to assemble the piece.

I love that it brings some nature and a little greenery into our home.  Wherever you stand you get a different look due to the fact that the jar is filled with water which is amazing.  I'm loving the free Pottery Barn look!

Be sure to come check out the rest of 5 Days, 5 Ways as we explore how to Get the Look: Pottery Barn Inspired!
