A week ago Josh and I got away and as we prepare to leave again tomorrow, I can't help but reflect back on the lovely one night getaway we took last week. There is this little spot an hour south of us in San Diego called Cardiff by the Sea Lodge which we love to escape to.
This cute little bed and breakfast is darling. Each room is individually decorated and we stayed in the Victorian room. It was certainly very Victorian! I loved the stylish chandelier in our room!
One of the best parts about this getaway is the rooftop deck! Up on the roof there are gorgeous views of the ocean. You can enjoy the jacuzzi or the fire pit while looking out over the beautiful coast.

It is truly a picturesque place to escape from the business of life. Last week we needed a little time to refocus and spend quality time together without distractions of a busy life. So if you are looking to go somewhere charming, I would certainly consider this delightful getaway!
