Questions and Answers! Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes

Hello my friends!  I have had quite a few questions about my Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes and I wanted to take a moment to address some of your questions!

The number 1 question has did you get those Starbucks cups?!  Just ask!  Asking is the best policy!  It may take asking a few different baristas, but it will happen.  Maybe its because my husband and I frequent Starbucks a bit too much, but when they know you it helps!  You never know you may make a new friend!

Another question was about the consistency of the cupcake.  Is the cupcake more of a cupcake consistency or that of a muffin?  The actually consistency is lighter and that of a cupcake.  The pumpkin makes it a little denser, but it is definitely a cupcake and not a muffin.  The accompanying cream cheese frosting certainly makes this treat a cake!

Hope that helps!  If you have any other questions, please let me know and I'd love to get back to you!

  1. Hi Kaitlin!

Thanks for popping by my blog and letting me know you had answered my question! I've only ever tried one other pumpkin spice cupcake recipe, and it really turned out like a muffin-cake, so it's great to know this is more of a cupcake consistency! I'm really excited to try the recipe. We've been having 30 degree weather here the last few days (in Winnipeg, no less...we're soaking it up before the cold comes!) so once the weather turns chilly these are first on my baking to-do list! Thanks again! Looking forward to keeping up with your blog!

  2. Thank you very much for answering my question!!

  3. Haha.. thanks for the info. Im going to hunt down baristas for cups now ;)

  5. Have you tried baking it in the cup? Or would it not work because the inside is coated with plastic?
