Treats for Christmas

Around the holidays there are so many delicious treats!  Everywhere you go, there is so sort of tempting treat.  Well this Christmas I made some treats of my own for all of my students.

I made chocolate dipped pretzels and marshmallows topped with candy canes, sprinkles, and colored sugar.

It was really quite easy!  All I did was melt chocolate, dip the pretzel or marshmallow in the chocolate, and then dip it in my topping of choice.

Once I dipped them all, I placed them on parchment paper to prevent sticking and placed the trays in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the treats to set.

Once the chocolate and toppings were set, I wrapped them in individual bags with twine and a Christmas card.  My husband teaches for an hour at my school as well and so I included him on the tag.  The tags are one of my favorite parts.   I love the word bubble, I think it was the perfect touch!

It was so fun to bring my basket of treats to school and share them with all of my students!

They all have heard how much I love to bake and next time they want me to bring pies...we shall see if that happens!
